Dynasty mode is a game mode in football management games where you control a team across multiple seasons, making long-term decisions that shape the franchise over years or even decades. Unlike single-season modes that reset after the championship, dynasty mode carries every decision forward — roster moves, draft picks, salary cap choices, and player development all compound over time.

How Dynasty Mode Works

In dynasty mode, you manage the full lifecycle of a football franchise:

• Drafting — Select rookies who join your team and develop over multiple seasons
• Player Development — Young players grow, veterans peak, and aging stars decline
• Contract Management — Sign, extend, and release players while managing salary cap space
• Free Agency — Compete with other teams to sign available players

Dynasty Mode vs Season Mode

Season mode (sometimes called "play now" or "single season") gives you one shot to win a championship. Dynasty mode is the long game. The distinction matters because it changes how you make decisions:

• In season mode, you go all-in every year. There is no future to worry about.
• In dynasty mode, you balance winning now against building for the future. Trading a first-round pick for a veteran might win you a title this year but set you back for three years.
